Not too much to report... But I honestly cannot believe the pace here, so relaxed. No lineups in the grocery stores, no self check outs, no hoping you get through the red light before it changes, nothing. It feels weird actually. I guess you just simply get used to the hustle and bustle of the city (even if the city we live in is not overly huge). I love the city. Tomorrow we will be heading into PG to do some shopping.
I have ran into a few people, and of course it's nice to say hello with a quick catch-up. It irritates the shit out of me how they all say that they think we should get together and have a visit. Honestly, I moved away almost 6 years ago, and I don't see any of you coming for a visit to see me (my door would always be open)... but they second I come here I should come to see you.
Today I am going to be checking out a tattoo place here in town. My sister reassures me that this girl that has a shop does some pretty good stuff. She is from England, and my sister had some work done from her before. I could get one done when I am at home because there are countless shops there, but I would like to get it done while Andy is away. He has said before that he thinks that I don't need any more to add to the 3 I already have. I personally think that they are awesome, and I would like to get one in commemoration of my little Hudson. I have a little something in mind. It excites me!! It's a good pain... and so worth it in the end!
I will check it out today, and let you know how I make out!

Oohh have fun with that! LOL, I remember the last one, which not to mention has to be finished. Glad you are having a good time. Hugs to all of you. Miss you all very much.
ReplyDeleteThumbs up to more tattoos! You absolutely need one to celebrate Hudson.
ReplyDeleteYeah, you do need one to celebrate Hudson. I had no idea Vanderhoof had their very own tattoo artist! Huh. Seems weird. I mean, yes I got a tattoo in Vanderhoof once but it was by a "traveling tattoo artist". And it was in a van. Behind the bar.
ReplyDeleteDidn't seem so trashy at the time but looking back....
Oh Tara! I laughed so hard! I think we were living together at the time weren't we? Honestly though-- were there many shops around here back then? The travelling one was cool back in the day!
ReplyDeleteI am booked for Thursday...
HA! Actually yes, I think we WERE living together then. ha ha... funny.
